30x30 outfit 2: pattern mixing and bright blue
We went on a day trip to Nimes yesterday and I wore my new turquoise shorts. This is the perfect outfit for a day of sightseeing - comfortable, with a dash of bright colour and mixed patterns! For those of you who haven't heard of Nimes, it is a small French city which has a lot of Roman history. It is also important from a fashion standpoint, since the word denim comes from Nimes - 'de Nimes'. It has a really cool Colosseum and some Roman temples. We spent a fun day exploring and then ate a typical French lunch of 'moules frites' (mussels and fries) and vin rosé. Yum! :) Here's a picture we took of the Colosseum. Isn't it majestic?
