More Issues Than Vogue
Every time I go away somewhere tropical and steamy hot, I’m reminded why I live in Minnesota.
My hair simply cannot handle it.
It is seriously ridiculous.
You see, I have curly-ish hair. It’s sort of more like fuzzy-ish hair, to be honest. I left ringlets long ago, and have graduated to a sort of crunchy crinkly style that’s not quite what one would hope for on a head.
In Minnesota, where it’s cool 9 months of the year, and not crazy humid the other three, I can work with it.
In Mexico, I can’t. So up it goes into a bun, and there it stays most of the week.
