Tomorrow is the 4th of the July, and for those of us in the States, it means big things. Aside from the obvious day off work, a day for big sales, fireworks, grillin' and chillin' with a cold beer in one hand and loaded hot dog in the other, a day for doing a whole lot of enjoyable nothing - July 4th is the anniversary of the original Thirteen Colonies' declaration of independence from the rule of Great Britain.
Independent being defined as "not subject to another's authority or jurisdiction; autonomous, free. Not influenced or controlled by others in matters of opinion, conduct, etc. Thinking or acting for oneself."
