50’s Spring
It must be the influence from Brooklyn and its 1950’s costumes, because this is the most explicitly 50’s-looking outfit I’ve worn in a while (seriously, it looks like something Betty wears on season 1 of Mad Men .) But I haven’t worn this cardigan in a while, and it just seems too perfect in the spring weather with all the rain and the new leaves and the flowers blooming. And when you have something that is so vintage-looking, you can’t help but go with that vintage feel. I tried to modernize it with my oxfords, but now I wish I had embraced the 50’s look and worn a pair of flats instead.
