Last weekend I traveled home to my stomping grounds of New Jersey, visiting the well-known area of Asbury Park for an impromptu photo sash. To think after all the years I’ve lived in the area I would’ve thought to photograph here my last three as a blogger. It’s practically a ghost town during the off-season – which is all the more reason to indulge in the photos now before the tourism crowd shows up mid-May.
Posing in this starry-eyed surprise of a find from Nordstrom Rack next to what was the infamous carousel reminds me of the sheer fact that, nothing lasts forever – neither sale prices nor carnival attractions. So...
