Back to Basics
______This outfit was put together after reading this post over at Joyful Outfits! The lovely Joyce challenged her readers to dress up the basic but lovely combination of a white t-shirt and a black skirt. It's been quite some time since I've actually worn a white shirt and black skirt together, so it was fun to finally play around with them again! Is it embarrassing to say that I actually had to make a trip to TJ Maxx to buy a plain white shirt for this? Yeah, I'm lacking a bit in the basics department... but now I can finally cross that off my to do list and say that I have one. I had a few outfits in mind for dressing up this ensemble but settled for this one...
