Cologne Christmas Markets: Part Two
Picking up where I left off in Part One of my latest travel diary, we left the beautiful Markt der Engel (Angel Market) during the early hours of the evening and made our way back to the Hilton Hotel Cologne to freshen up and drop off various shopping bags before heading out again! On this final evening, we met up with some of our British relatives who were visiting the lively city at the same time. We chose to meet outside the illuminated gates of Heimat der Heinzel, an extensive Christmas market located eight minutes away from Cologne Cathedral. Why? Because it's one of the most lively markets in Cologne and come night-time, it buzzes. ...
