Looking forward
Greetings from my new garden! It's my first post in my new house (as the last ones were written in Northumberland). It's so pretty out here and you can see the crocuses are coming up that I told of before. Lent is a time of looking forward. Lenten actually comes from the word "lengthening" as the days are getting longer and I like that lent comes as the word for us here in the northern hemisphere is coming better in that sense, in terms of the days getting longer, bringing hope, more time, more possibilities. Something that the vicar said today. "Look forward from today, don't look back." It's easy to look back on the past and hold grudges...
