When we went to my mother-in-law's house for Thanksgiving, she altered another pair of pants for me to make them into maternity pants. Like the last pair, we cut out the waist band and added a ribbed knit material for the belly panel. We also added elastic at the top to keep them from sliding down. I think my DIY pants turned out great!
It's nice to have another pair of pants I can wear to work, church, Christmas parties, etc. I haven't been wearing dresses much lately, because my Spanx tights feel WAY too restricting on the belly, and...
