When Flats > Heels
High heels are painful, they aren’t any good for your feet and they cost a lot- but they’re soooo pretty. So when I was younger (omg I can’t believe how many times I’ve been starting sentences with this lately), I thought pain > comfort, and looking good was top priority above everything else. That stupid decision (imagine pulling out (I had a short stint as a stylist before) in sky high heels all day), coupled with my already used and abused feet from all the years of Pointe shoes and contemporary dance made my feet die at a very young age of 26. Well, to be honest, they died way before that. Now I can’t stand for more than an hour...
