When you’re missing your Asian roots in Vancouver, make your way to Richmond (Hongcouver) and you’ll settle right back in. I swear, this suburb made me feel like I instantly teleported to HongKong. They have the best Chinese Restaurants- some even better than the ones I’ve eaten at in China, and everywhere you look are signs in Chinese and people speaking Cantonese. There are even waitresses driving Ferraris. It’s quite amusing! They say real estate prices around the area have dramatically risen because of all the rich Chinese businessmen and immigrants securing lots and houses far above their value, just to have them.
