My robot coat..
Coat: Handmade (Pattern: Burda 6802 ) 2016 started not unlike it's predecessor in that I set the sewing ball rolling by making myself a new coat. I mentioned in a recent round-up post that I'd got this robot wool from Ditto Fabrics and couldn't wait to make it up. The wool is not the thickest fabric ever - it's thinner than the stuff I used for my cape, for examples. Now, I'm always too warm and had in mind for this fabric a kind of slouchy, oversized style anyway, which I planned to wear layered over other things.
