Northern Flicker image of northern flicker from allaboutbirds.org and it seems they got it from flicker, which is a little perfect, right? taken 2007 Today this bird flew into our yard and the first photo is my best one. Not impressive. So I found you the next image so you can fully appreciate how cool the bird was. I also learned that it's called the Northern Flicker Woodpecker. I think its black crescent bib and pop of red are pretty cool. It's a ground forager and eats mostly beetles and ants. Also, it kinda matches my dress today, which I've had for a long time.
