Retirement, Peony, and Picasso
This what I wore to my friend Jim's retirement party. It made me think about what I want my retirement party to be like. Ok, I know it will be decades before that day comes, but if there are certain things I want said or NOT said, I better start working on it, right? What do I want my legacy to be? ... Actually, I'm not having that much fun thinking about that after all. I think I'd rather imagine the party: I want it somewhere nice overlooking Elliot Bay at sunset. I want mingling, champagne, and passed trays of hors d'oeuvres. I want people dressed up.
