Last Day of School
Friday was the last day of school and I took three of my most responsible and well behaved children out to lunch at a fancy waterfront restaurant. The kids worked quite hard to earn this privilege. I realized, however, that it meant I wasn't necessarily taking out the most interesting, funniest, nor inquisitive students... Maybe I can invent another prize for those kids next year... Below is a photo I took from our window table. The highlight of lunch was when the chef heard about our little group and sent over free dessert and cider shots!!! Dessert was white chocolate cake with raspberry sauce garnished with mint and the cider shot had a maraschino cherry in it. ...
