the winter wind is crying
Come to me, and rest against my shoulder,how fast the minutes fly away and every minute colder. Hurry near, another day is dying.Don't you hear, the winter wind is crying?There's a darkness which comes without a warning,but I will sing your lullabies and wake you in the morning.{Come to Me, from Les Miserables}This may be one of the last times I'm able to venture down to the lake for some time. Autumn has suddenly turned to definite winter; the wind is so harsh and wild it practically tears through my clothing and skin. It has been snowing sporadically all day, but not the lovely, light snow, the wet, clumpy kind. I rather wish the snow would fall in its white meadows...
