It was Friday night, and we were going out to eat at one of our favourite restaurants, Au Petit Chavignol, to celebrate my husband's birthday. I had put together the perfect outfit for the evening - a turquoise skirt, suede heels... But it was as cold as winder day outside and the skies were threatening to open up again at any moment.
