Heart to heart: chunky sweater, skinny jeans, and woolen beanie
I thought my sister and I had an agreement - made quite a while ago! - that we were no longer going to exchange any Christmas gifts...but this year she broke our deal and surprised me!! This delicate copper pin is handmade out of metal reclaimed from the roofs of old buildings all around New Brunswick (which my sister calls home)...and those intertwined hearts?? She hoped it would be a way for me to keep her close - even though we live on opposite coasts of a very, very big country. I'll admit right now that her thoughtfulness left me a little teary-eyed; we were best friends growing up, but it's been about ten years since we've resided in the same...
