Today is my first day of Christmas holidays...and in addition to the imminent arrival of Santa Claus, I'm also really looking forward to a few extra days off work!! Don't get me wrong - I adore my job at the veterinary clinic; and at this time of year, we certainly get very spoiled by many of our long-time clients with all kinds of holiday treats (the fact that I can't indulge in any of them because of my dietary restrictions is beside the point...it's the thought that counts, and there's plenty of other staff around to devour the mountain of goodies!!)
