As soon as I saw this vintage hat on the head on the counter at Used House of Vintage (the head was not real), I knew I was in the presence of the coolest. hat. ever. ( moment of reverential silence ) Just my luck, it was blowout priced for Boxing Day madness and now - ta-dah! - anoints my noggin'. The jersey sleeveless, hooded maxi with front zip and slit was also freakishly discounted. I had my eye on it for about, oh, two years. Ah, yes, I am the master of patience, my grasshoppers (rarely, actually). That's the good thing about vintage: when a style season is over for regular fashion, the vintage just gets more vintage-y. Oh, I'm so carefree! Bwahaha!...
