Christmas Ritual
For me, Christmas is a holiday in which ritual plays a big part. Putting up the tree, shopping for presents and tree ornaments, making sticky date pudding, watching carols, opening presents and sitting down to a big family meal is all incredibly ritualistic and that is what I love about Christmas so much. I love to lavish in all of that, and when it gets to the last week before Christmas I kind of panic a little because I will miss it all. To be honest, I enjoy all of the anticipation leading to Christmas even more so than I enjoy the day itself!
