Will Says... 'What's in a name? That which we call a rose. By any other name would smell as sweet.' - or so good ol' Will says. So why is that we are all ripping our hair out after hearing about Hedi Slimane's 'rebranding' stunt? After all Monsieur Saint Laurent didn't attach his forename to the iconic fashion house when he launched ready-to-wear in 1966 amongst a sea of couture fashion. It was Saint Laurent Rive Gauche that galvanized women's apparel with every day pieces hijacked from the male wardrobe - the shirt, the blazer, the trouser suit... So technically one could see the new name, Saint Laurent Paris, as a return to the true essence of Yves Saint Laurent's legacy. Yet...
