Christmas Tree lighting ceremony!

On friday night i went to my towns tree lighting ceremony, a christmas tradition my family looks forward to every year! :) the tree is in the town square which is in the middle of a street filled with shops and restaurants. The stores stay open late and the bakerys make special cookies just for the event... of course the coffee shops on the street are packed with people but its definitely worth the wait! Everyone is dressed warmly and in festive colours and the children wear their christmas hats. Anywhere you stand on the street you will hear Christmas carols being sung on the stage in the town square by the giant christmas tree. At around...
