my on-air debacle
One of my job roles is to act as a local PR person for the company I work for, which includes an occasional appearance on local television. I had one such date on Monday - my second overall - and it went, er, not quite as I had hoped.
Let me just give you a little chuckle for your Thursday afternoon:
When I got there, it was a completely different crew than I had worked with the first time, so I instantly became nervous again. While on air (it was a 5-minute live segment), I wanted to use my phone to show a helpful app that pertained to the topic. I had everything ready to go and the camera rolled.
