This past weekend, I was the lucky chosen one to whom the hosting Fathers Day lunch prize was bestowed upon. All my in-laws came over Sunday afternoon for a pow wow in our backyard complete with three crazy hyper dogs and one not so enthusiastic, but forever cute baby. I haven't hosted many get-togethers in my time, but there is one thing I've learned in my short hostess lifetime and that's cook as many things as you can the night before. For example, everyone's favorite macaroni salad can be prepared well in advance and stored in the fridge until you are ready to get your munch on.
