vintage goldmine
Know why October is one of my favorite months? Okay, well, one reason at least. Because I swear to God all the thrift stores keep their good vintage hidden away until they put out their Halloween stuff because it's "costumey." I've found so many incredible pieces this time of year at thrift stores. This dress included. For some reason Gunne Sax gets filed under "costumey." I found two Gunne Sax dresses in amazing condition at the thrift store the other day. They also do this with vintage wedding gowns because people like to be zombie brides and such, but holy cow some of the vintage wedding gowns they put out are so amazing! I cry a little bit inside...
