This week has been super awkward. Well, I guess it would be more accurate to say: I have been super awkward this week . See, on Sunday night I reached for the check at dinner (I’ll never make that mistake again) and accidentally bumped my water glass. No big deal, right? Embarrassing, but there are worse things that a wet lap. Except somehow – and I can’t explain why – when the glass fell, it shattered all over the place. All over the table, my lap, and my right hand. Cut me in two places. One of the cuts isn’t too bad, but the other one is a pretty decent slice right in the nice fleshy part of my palm.
