There's nothing like a day spent lounging around poolside, with nothing to do and all the time to do it in. It seems like pools have always played a central role in my life. The house I grew up in in Los Angeles had one in the yard, so naturally, I was raised as a water baby: I can't even count all the swim parties we hosted over my childhood. I also swam competitively in high school (hence the broad shoulders), and got used to doing laps for hours....
