every once in awhile we are given the opportunity to shine a light upon a worthy cause. today is such a day. almost 35 years ago i lost my father to cancer. he was diagnosed at the very young age of 45. but fought 10 valiant years until his war against this deadly and debilitating disease was finally lost. but i’m happy to report that during his long and heroic fight he was able to walk me down the aisle, and welcome 2 of my sons into this world. but, oh, how i wish he were here today to see how they’ve grown into such fine young men. he would have been so...
