Recess Weather
Whether or not I have a recess duty majorly influences what I wear to work. For example, in the first week of school we continued to have hot summer weather. The temperatures were in the 90's with bright sunny skies. Luckily our building has air conditioning. It's an older system so it's not always fantastic, but it's something, and I prefer it over shivering in extreme a/c all day. Some school buildings don't have any air conditioning at all so I remind myself that it could certainly be worse. So the only time I really need to plan to deal with hot temperatures in work clothes is on a day I have assigned recess duty. I originally intended to wear a lightweight black...
