[Happy birthday, Ian!] He had to work in the evening - he's a cook, so he often works night shifts. Since we weren't able to celebrate together, I spent my solitary evening watching one of our shared favourite shows - Yes, Minister, a British political comedy. The show is from the 80s but the humour transcends the passage of time. I'm particularly fond of Derek Fowlds' character, Bernard Woolley - he plays the minister's principal private secretary, and he takes great pleasure in pointing...
