On Friday night, Eric and I headed out for a date night! We've been so busy this summer with trips, wedding plans, and obligations, so it was perfect to just spend a night alone out on the town. We decided to try José Babushka's , which has been on my "wishlist" of places to visit as soon as I found out it existed a couple of months ago! It's located in the heart of Gaslight Village in East Grand Rapids, and kind of a hidden gem, if you ask me. They have an extremely wonderful mix of my two favorite types of foods – Mexican and Polish. My grandma was Polish, so I grew up eating stuffed cabbage, pierogies and kielbasa.
