Did you know that today is national Thrift Shop Day? While it may not be a widely recognized 'holiday' many thrift stores will be offering sales in it's honor. At this point I'd say at least a third of my wardrobe was purchased from a thrift store, or at least secondhand, via consignment, ebay, or tag sale. Today everything I'm wearing, save for jewelry and sunglasses, was thrifted, and it's entirely possible that I spent more money on my sunglasses alone ($60) than I did on everything else I've got on combined.
