Taking Care of Business
I had to get my portrait taken at work this week for my official bio page on the firm website. So of course I put a little extra thought into my outfit, particularly from the shoulders up. Structured blazer: obviously. But I didn’t want to look like every other black-and-white-wearing floating head, so I came up with this softer but still serious look. I guess it worked because one of my coworkers (who didn’t know I was getting my photos taken) said I looked like I was about to take someone down.
THAT’S BECAUSE I MEAN BUSINESS.
Most of my lawyerly clothes are machine washable, but some of them like this jacket and dress...
