Unsung This poor vintage Ann Taylor floral skirt was rescued from the thrift store a year and a half ago. It had an elastic waistband, was far too large and too long. I shortened it, created a new waistband with a zipper, transformed it into a new skirt, and then never wore it. I won't make up excuses or try to rationalize it, but 16 months later I finally put it on, and hopefully I will again soon. With a print that is just begging to be styled for fall, there is no reason it needs to languish in the closet for another year.
