Outfit: the holiday skirt en vacance
I'm back from my mini-break on the UK coast and all I can say is: congratulations, me, on picking the worst few days of summer to have a holiday in this country. After five days of wearing wellies just to pop out for lunch, I couldn't be more sick of water (and my old arch nemesis, The Wind)! Ok, the wellies were new, leopard print, and had little heels, and yes, I did buy them specifically for the awful weather forecast so a part of me was pleased... But I'd have traded them for a day of sunshine - and I love new shoes. Anyway, while I pray for summer to return, now's a good time to remember when I did experience fantastic holiday weather.
