I can't believe my son's summer vacation is over. Today is his first day for second grade. I feel bad that his summers are so short but at the same time is thankful it's short so he doesn't feel so bored all summer long. The highlight of having year round is the fall break that we have the longer spring breaks too. I tried in June to a no shopping ban and failed miserably. I purchased several items in June by the middle of the month. I didn't go crazy as I normally would and spend about 25% of what I spend in a typical month so I would say it was a success.
