Saugatuck, Michigan
It has been a beautiful summer so far in Michigan. I took a trip to Saugatuck a couple of weekends ago, especially to see the Chain Ferry, Oval Beach and Mount Baldhead. I highlighted it in my Michigan travel book last summer and have been wanting to see it ever since. Oval Beach was named one of the top 25 most beautiful shorelines in the world by Condé Nast Traveler, so of course I had to check it out! It's only about 45 minutes outside of the city too, which is perfect for a quick day trip. I first stopped downtown to check out the Saugatuck Chain Ferry.
