If you’re up to speed with the plus size community, then you’ve probably heard rumblings regarding Oprah’s O Magazine’s controversial fashion tip regarding plus size women and crop tops. Here’s the excerpt:
“If (and only if!) you have a flat stomach, feel free to try [a crop top].” A shocking statement coming from a magazine that is meant to inspire women and representative of, in my opinion, a full figured woman who has struggled with her weight and public perceptions of her body her whole life.
