I'm so used to the Texas heat that assaults you the minute you step out of your house, that I'm not used to this sneaky heat that exists elsewhere in the world. That's how it was on the island, you'd think o h, this is so refreshing and 20 minutes late you were covered in sweat and confused as to how. I've come to the conclusion that both types of heat are offensive. I've also come to the conclusion that pony tails and buns are the key defense for summertime hair. If you can't beat 'em, bun 'em.
