First off, THANK YOU for the kind words in response to the news about my dad . My family and I have gotten to spend good time together looking through old pictures of our dad as we prepare for his memorial service. Thank you again for your support during this time. My dad and mom live 500 miles from me, and I decided only a couple of hours prior to leaving that I would drive the 500 miles with my brother, departing at 9pm. As nuts as that felt, I am SO glad I did it because it allowed me to see my dad for the last day that he was coherent and responsive.
