Swing
Earlier today I was sitting in my room listening to the rain really slam against my window. Two minutes later I looked outside and the sun was shining. That is my favorite kind of rainy weather, the kind where the sun makes a triumphant return. It brightens my mood and makes the gloom seem not as bad. It also is a real reminder that winter is slowly approaching, not that the growing count of layers on my body all at once isn't reminding me anyway. I don't know if it's a colder Fall/Winter transition this year, or if I just am not used to it, but I'm finding it very difficult to get the right combination of clothes for warmth. Below I'm wearing a new swingy cape coat....
