England in 1928 I never get tired of looking at vintage photographs--whether it's the incredibly poised fashion work of models like Dovima, or artfully composed photographs by experts like Cartier-Bresson or the more documentational captures, like the series above of 1928 England . These photographs were taken by Clifton R. Adams on assignment for National Geographic using Autochrome. It's not common to see color photographs from this period in time and Adams captured a number of quiet, everyday scenes making this seris all the more alluring for it's glimpse into the past.
