Friday Mocktails
I've been lagging in my Friday Mocktails feature recently because - shock of shock - I haven't had much to complain about. But this past week? Oh boy, it's like the Whine gods saved it all up and had it overflow all at once, because my people tolerance meter is hovering near E right now ...
BF and I are considering joining a softball league later this summer, so we decided to go out and throw some balls around for practice. Well, I am apparently really good at catching softballs - with my face. The area around my right eye was literally unrecognizable for about two days with swelling. Then it died down and I was left with a purply-black eye and cheek. Lucky you gals...
