Truth be told, I want to dress up everyday. I want it to be all heels and lace and fancy dresses. I want date night every week and wish everyday were a good hair day. But my life doesn't always call for fancy, good hair days require a trifecta of perfect conditions, and my dates are more likely to include sitting at the bar of a Mexican restaurant at 3 p.m. (Sean and I have pretty much mastered never going out to eat at what is considered to be an actual meal time) than somewhere with table linens at 7 p.m. Clinging desperately to my desire to be dressed up, I felt the least I could do was throw on my silver pumps with my sweatshirt and boyfriend denim... ...
