Daily MelWear: To Celebrate
Today, my baby girl is five years old. FIVE!!! I can’t even believe it. She’s with her dad (or more specifically, her grandpa because her dad is at work today) so I called and got to talk to her for just a minute this morning.
We asked where she’d like to go to dinner tonight - her dad and I are going to take her out – and she said somewhere fancy where the boys wear ties and the girls wear long dresses…then she says, “Olive Garden!” Silly girl. Actually, we’re going to take her to Carrabba’s because she loves to watch the chefs in the kitchen, so we’ll sit at the counter where we can do that....
