Emirates Stakes Day 2011
Well I had no intention of attending any race days during this year's Spring Racing Carnival, however, thanks to my Aunt and Uncle coming to town, at very last minute we decided to go to the Emirates Stakes Day. This is the last race day of the carnival - the family day. It was the hottest day of the year at the warm temperature of 30 degrees. I made the conscious decision of wearing 30+ sunscreen underneath my make up and it was a very wise choice. My outfit was not planned at all and I frantically put this ensemble together in the morning from whatever I had in my wardrobe. I took a few opportunities between each race to walk around the grounds and find some race going...
