DIY Red Shift Dress, Butterick 5211

I decided to go all out in monochromatic red today as I spotlight my diy red shift dress I made using Butterick 5211 view B, minus the belt.  Let me just say I love this dress pattern, it states fast and easy 1 hour pattern and it truly is very quick to sew. I definitely plan on making a few more versions in various colors, fabrics and prints, today I used a vibrant solid red woven fabric with a touch of lycra that I found at my local Fabric Mart.  It is a mid weight and structured fabric, but definitely not stiff and super easy to cut and sew.  I just love how it turned out, it’s loose but not boxy, simple, yet chic...
