I was in the sixth grade the last time I owned a backpack. It was bright purple...with wheels! You can imagine how giddy I was when I spotted it at Wal-Mart, trying desperately to convince my parents that I needed, nay, deserved, a backpack with wheels. They don't give in very often, but when they do, it's only once in a blue moon, and that makes it all the more special.
