Casual Spring
I am already in Summer mode and it's only April. The temps here in Texas are heating up. In my mind, sunny and 85 degree weather correlates to Summer; even though it's still a couple months away. I feel like the kids and even a few teachers have already checked out from school. The days are longer, outside hours are extended, homework is lighter and each week has gotten more carefree. I am not complaining one bit because I live for this is the time of year. Ahem, the very reason for my absence yesterday. We spent a full weekend, starting on Friday, with friends and family. I might have extended the weekend past Sunday to embrace the "so called" Summer mode. I...
